Interesting to note that the B6 away game is the same day as the Birmingham Beer Festival. Could be an interesting night in town !!!

May be a good reason to move it to Sunday ?

come on then whos thinking straight at such an early hour
WHY is the FA CUP FINAL on the 14th may 2 games before the end of the season ?  never known this before
only thing i can think of is maybe the season is starting later because of the world cup cant be bothered to check this out

The FA Cup final will be played on May 14, with the final matches of the Premier League season eight days later on May 22.
The FA Cup final is traditionally the climax to the season but Wembley is hosting the Champions League final on May 28 which means there is no option but to stage it before the end of the league campaign.
It is not the first time the Premier League season has ended after the FA Cup final - it did so both in 2001 and 2002

For those Blues fans looking forward to a trip to the seaside, Blackpool away has been scheduled for Tuesday 4 January, 2011.

get me bucket and spade, nothing like a trip to the beach in January!!! :banghead:

A cynic might suggest it's fixed that we dont go up there 'en masse again....

No cynicisms.

I posted over a week ago that one of the "requests" to the final fixtures compilers is that Blues and West Ham play midweek at Blackpool.

So, our wonderful hoolies not only deny us proper KOs against our local rivals but a weekend in Blackpool as well.

:banghead:

Happy as ever I see lowdham

I take it you are on of those neanderthal, bonehead, stuck in the 20th Century hooligans - or lulus as we like to call you.

Grow up. I was told a week before that the fixtures were being amended to accomodate winter midweek Blackpool home games against West Ham and Blues...............and guess what? they did. and guess what? it's because of our bad name when it comes to neanderthal lulus.
